The wastewater treatment plant receives the waste water freight from over 10,000 residents and 500 commercial and service companies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In complex, biological processes, ammonia and ammonium nitrogen are denitrified and phosphorus is precipitated. At the end of the complex cleaning processes, clean water enters the wild stream. A highly automated system controls this cleaning process. The team led by Linus Bleisch keeps everything under control. When alarms occur, things often have to be quick.
