Safe through the night: Night Aditors at the Tristar Hotel Group

Safe Through the Night: Nationwide Rollout Successfully Launched at Tristar Hotel Group
The hotel industry never sleeps. While guests arrive, depart, or require assistance late at night, night porters in hotels nationwide ensure safety, service, and smooth operations. These very employees often work alone at the reception or are on patrol throughout the building – often out of direct sight or earshot.
The Tristar Hotel Group is therefore now implementing a modern security solution to protect its night porters – both at the reception and during patrols and rounds within hotel operations.
With 49 hotels in operation, 7,433 rooms, and over 1,300 employees, the Tristar Hotel Group is one of the leading hotel operators in Germany. Consequently, the requirements for modern security standards are high – particularly during night hours.
Nationwide Training Successfully Completed
Last week, the nationwide rollout, including online training for the Tristar Hotel Group's hotel teams, took place. Employees from various locations received comprehensive training on the new security processes and how to use the solution.
The clear focus was on protecting night porters:
- Safety at the Night Reception
- Assistance During Patrols and Rounds
- Rapid Alerting in Emergencies
- Increased Safety for Lone Working
- Easy and Intuitive Use in Everyday Work
Especially in hotel operations, situations often arise at night where quick help can be crucial. Whether in medical emergencies, unpleasant encounters with guests, or unexpected incidents in the building – employees must be able to rely on not being alone in an emergency.
Safety That Works in Everyday Operations
The new solution was specifically chosen to integrate safety into daily work without additional effort. For night porters, this primarily means one thing: an enhanced sense of security – both at the reception and during rounds through underground car parks, corridors, or outdoor areas.
It's not just about technology, but about responsibility towards employees. At the same time, a high level of security also strengthens employee loyalty and underscores employer attractiveness in a demanding industry.
Modern hospitality today means more than just comfort for guests. It also means making workplaces safer and providing the best possible support to employees in challenging situations.
Starting This Week: Safe Through the Night
With the successful completion of the training, the Tristar Hotel Group officially commences operations this week.
A strong signal for modern safety standards in the hotel industry – and for the protection of the people who, night after night, ensure guests feel safe and welcome.
Safe through the night. Nationwide.
