The water protection of the Canton of Zurich protects drinking water 🚰🚰 -- like their employees. 📱📱

Water protection is one of five divisions of the Office for Waste, Water, Energy and Air (AWEL). Operations throughout the canton, on 5 lakes & 150 rivers, 6600 km of sewer networks and 215 wastewater treatment plants (ARA) are part of the agenda. In addition, there are over 200 emergency operations every year with potential soil or water contamination. To support employees working alone, AWEL has opted for the Uepaa® Safety app. Even for places underground when cell phone reception is no longer available:
