More than 400 Bluetooth transmitters ensure 🎯 precise positioning where 🛰️ GPS cannot reach. This is how IWB Industrielle Werke Basel protects itself with the Safety App from Uepaa AG:

Boiler house, gas compressor, secondary condensate, storage silo, main fireplace, emergency water tank... the list is long and spread over 7 locations throughout Basel.

Working in these zones is usually out of sight and calling distance of colleagues - protection of lone workers is essential:

✔️ Digital dead man function (according to Suva 44094 🚨)
✔️ Digital camera help (Geo Casting Alarm 🆘)
✔️ Out/indoor positioning (GPS and BLE 🎯)
✔️ Bring Your Own Device (Android & iOS 📱)

More than 900 employees at IWB provide energy, water, mobility and telecommunications. A first large group was secured in 2021 with the Safety App from Uepaa AG. As of this month, there have been a further 100 employees. For this purpose, in-depth technical tests were carried out in advance, so-called Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacon programmed and placed, training courses prepared, info screens switched on, etc.... but here we go! 🚀🚀
