From Heidiland 🇨🇭 to Hellisheidi 🇮🇸 | That's Climeworks! The safety app from Uepaa AG is included.
3 years ago, the first Climeworks employees in Hinwil protected themselves at the first commercial plant for capturing CO2 from the air. Many new users have been added since this week, but now on the largest Direct Air Capture Site (DACS) in the world. More specifically in Hellisheidi, Iceland 🇮🇸. Especially in such a secluded location, securing solo work is key:
✔️ Digital dead man function (according to Suva 44094 🚨)
✔️ Digital camera help (Geo Casting Alarm 🆘)
✔️ Global function and rescue (IAG 🌍)
✔️ Bring Your Own Device (Android & iOS 📱)
Climeworks specializes in filtering CO₂ out of the air particularly efficiently and storing it underground together with Carbfix — thus offering companies the opportunity to reverse unavoidable emissions. The underlying technology for filtering CO2 from ambient air is called Direct Air Capture and Storage.
The founders of the Swiss company are Christoph Gebald and Jan Wurzbacher and, like our CEO, Mathias Haußmann, winners of the W.A. De Vigier Foundation in 2012. We are very pleased that we can also support this grandiose initiative in business terms and make our contribution to the safety of international employees. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
